Photos, phone, purse, plants, ‘puter

safe. Now to rebuild.

Brilliant blaze destroys.
Poems, pen, paper, paint, ink

Terrific! Your blaze cleanses you of “busy” things – for a little while. Love the line of “p” words.

Your interpretation of this poem is lovely, and is much more creative than what I was actually thinking when writing this! I have to admit (a bit embarrassed) that I embraced the prompt literally and meant that the photos, purse, phone, plant, and ‘puter would actually be safe. The prompt also said that family and pets would be safe too. 🙂 Thanks for all of your feedback! You comment actually inspired another response:

I see what you mean. i put “safe” with “now to rebuild” because it was on the same line. I ignored the period. And phones are especially “busy” things to me and i lumped the other items with it. I think it’s funny how a poem is a new creation for every reader.
