Challenge accepted: a poem without the letter u

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Twenty-Five.”

How hard can it be
to write a short poem
one letter short of twenty six?

Only a few lines in
already problems present
time for some creativity:

a one horned horse
swiftly soars across
a clear cobalt sky.

Drenching rain demands
parasol and shower-repellent
boots to splash in pools of water.
